Does it also solves the issues for the Professional Discs?

According to the Readme notes, the FAM driver included does not work on Snow Leopard and is therefore not installed. This is probably why you don't have to restart your computer after installing ver 2.11 on Snow Leopard.
What problems are you having? The FAM driver shipped with ver 2.10 seems to work OK for straight importing. It only gets in a mess when you start renaming things. |

2.11 solved the thumbnail issue for me. All seems to be working ok now with snow leopard.
Cheers, Tim

It works fully for me Uli ... who knows, perhaps there is a function I am not using that happens also to be not working, but I don't know of one.

U1 and Snow Leopard
Thierry,
It ALMOST works fully for me. Every time I insert a disk into the U1, it comes up labelled "Test" in XDCam transfer. I cannot rename it. Also, I cannot play the full-rez clip, just the proxy. Importing works just fine as does the proxy viewer. This is not the case for my other machines that do not have Snow Leopard installed. Jeff Halperin ZenHD.com |

Yes. I am able to fully utilize FAM functionality with XDCAM HD optical media under Mac OS X 10.6.x (Snow Leopard). Note I am NOT mounting media using a USB attached PDW-U1 drive unit, I am using a firewire attached PDW-F70 deck. |

Thanks Andy, in the meantime I already found out that the answer was 'yes': tested it yesterday and everything works fine after downloading version 2.11.0 of XDCAM Transfer from the Sony site. I'm also working via Firewire, but straight from the F350.
