Multi camera in studio
Hi,
Just posted a clip recorded with three PDW-F355, one PDW-700, one PMW-EX1, a Panasonic switcher AV-HS400 and recorded in a PMW-EX30 in 1920x1080 HQ via SDI-HD. The clip was neither edited or color corrected. XDCAM HD - Studio recording with a switcher on Vimeo All five cameras intercut very well. Gérson |

It matches really good indeed!
In my guess it's the EX that's on the dolly or track. It looks slightly more detailed than the other shots. Eelco

Hi,
EX1 is the one in the ceilling. 700 is the one on the left, close up in the singer. In the dolly is a 355. With a wide angle Fujinon lens (13x). The detail is standard in all 5 cameras. EX1 has no remote control input, so the camera was left alone: just did iris and that´s it. The cameras, in my opinion, matches very well. That´s why I posted, since there is a lot of questions about the image quality and compatibility. |

I've also found the EX3 to cut very well with a PDW700, it's a great cheap B camera. I still prefer the 700 as it is a properly designed/built camera and I dislike the SXS workflow.
A few tweaks and a better housing and the EX3 would really be amazing. One thing I love about the EX3 is the built in lens cap - I hope they start using that on broadcast lens hoods.

Gerson: very nice. I'd almost suggest that the F355's look nicer than the 700, in this clip. Not sure why but I just find them a bit more pleasing.
