2x extender at DVinfo.net

Does anyone know if there is a 2x extender on the market for placing between a Fujinon XS13x3.3BRM and the camerahead of an F-355?

Something like this that also includes Sony's hot shoe contacts.

I wouldn't recommend it anyway, there's bound to be a fairly significant quality drop, especially with a wide lens.
Will the one that you've linked to not work?

Steve, that extender won't work because it lacks the hot shoe contacts in the lens mount so the lens would not be able to communicate with the camera, or more importantly, receive any power. When you use the 1/2 to 2/3 adapter, the 2/3 lens has the cable that plugs in which is fine.
