SD detail page in F3xx cameras
Does the SD detail page specify settings for DVCAM mode recordings being made or for the downconverted firewire output of a HD recorded clip? Or both?
And depending on the above, are the detail settings in the regular detail menu page overridden by these when shooting in DVCAM mode or downconverting? Thanks.

I've experimented with that some time ago.
I'm not 100% sure but this is what i concluded from testing: SD detail works on the downconverted (capture with AVC mode) HD to SD image. The detail setting in the paint menu works at the recorded image in both SD and HD.

#1 : yes. You can see the result directly when watching a SD pic hooked up thru FBAS/component, too. The "low" "mid" "high" setting directly changes the crispness of the SD converted picture.
