Help! DL Disc Capture.
Hello. I have a problem. A client of mine gave me a 50GB XDcam HD disc for some footage that he wants in a project I'm working on. The problem is after exhausting research, I have not been able to find a single place in all of Mexico that has a Dual Layer capable camera or deck for rent. Sales distributors don't have any in stock either to borrow, only as pre-order items. Is there any way at all to get the data from the disc other than sending it abroad to have it transfered? I need a cheap and fast solution.
Thanks. |

You need one of the following:
U1 drive, F75 deck, F335 or F355 camera. Any of those will play back DL discs. If you can't get one of those then you will need to send it away.

Another option is to find a company in the US that will dump your footage to a USB drive and then mail it to you.
