F350 Low noise setting 1 footage from London
Hi everyone I have just posted an example of F350 footage with low noise setting off 1. Filmed in London on the South Bank from early evening to 9pm. Go to my website www.londonmarkfilms.co.uk and it can be found under the films section title Bankside. It shows how well the update has improved the camera. Shot at 25p and +6db of gain.

Some very nice footage there - what camera settings did you use and what type of grading?

Hi Paul, really simple flat setting no cine gamma modes the light on this day was good, and of course low noise setting 1. post very little adjustments otherwise the footage is as it was shot.

Thanks - of course a fair bit of vingette treatment too...
You definately see more grain/noise in the latter parts when it's darker. Was this also at +6db or more? Were the daytime/evening shots at +6db too? |

Paul, everthing was shot at +6db even last shots. The first scene was just before 6pm the weather was very changable going from cloud to clear sunset quickly. The vingette treatment was very little but the flash encoding seems to have made it darker at the edges even more!
