PDZ-1 - new version
I'm sure I saw on the sony web site last week about a new version of the PDZ-1 software that supported Vista at last.
I uninstalled v2.21 and meant to download the latest one (v2.22) but didn't get around to it. It was missing from the site today. Anyway, contacted Sony support and got it - so it does now exist. Email me if you want more info... Paul. |

I had no problems using the existing version of the proxy browser on Vista. The problem was the ProDisc driver wouldn't work on Vista so you couldn't plug in a FAM device and have it show up. But if I hooked camera to WinXP laptop and copied files to shared folder, the Vista machine could then use them running a local copy of the proxy browser. So hopefully, what you're saying is that they now have a ProDisc driver for Vista.

yes - that's the main change - the FAM driver is Vista compatible - will be good to explore the live logging possibilities.
However - I just can't get the update to install on my Sony VAIO laptop - error message ever time and Sony support haven't been able to help so far... |
