Settings for shooting ReflecMedia Chromatte?
Does anyone have any suggestions for specific settings for shooting a traditional chromakey or ReflecMedia Chromatte setup? Would adjusting the detail help much with getting a good key?
(F350 and Fuji XS17 lens) Thanks, Paul. |

I tend to use the Hi-sat matrix, -3db gain and standard detail for chroma key work. Hisat gives the chroma a bit more punch that helps the keyer and -3db keeps things a bit cleaner.

Thanks Alister.
Can't remember - do you have Chromatte or do you use a traditional setup? I'm still trying to get as good a key with the Chromatte system as I used to with a traditional setup - not there yet :( Still finding problems with the LED shadow around fine detail/hair etc. One of the problems is I was reviewing the image on an SD Sony field monitor - the green is less saturated than I would have liked although I'm not sure how much of a difference this makes? Cheers, Paul. |
