A7s Min ISO is 200 when using profiles
So the minimum ISO is 50 but when you select a Picture Profile (I use PP3) the minimum ISO you can set is 200 - anyone a clue why?

Re: A7s Min ISO is 200 when using profiles
Hi Pete
It must be a Sony thing and also I think gain is pushed on PP3 the same as the EA-50 ...on the EA-50 the base ISO is 160 but pushes to 200 on PP3 so probably to achieve the shadow detail all Sony PP3 profiles need a minimum of 200 Chris |

Re: A7s Min ISO is 200 when using profiles
Good point Chris - seems to make sense - I am keeping my EA50 for now as I've a few small corporate jobs coming up at the end of the year and it might look the part more than the A7s - plus I could use the XLRs
