PXW-X70 PP Comment
Just wanted to chime in on using Paul Anderegg’s custom PP posted back on 11-06-2015 found below and http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/sony-4k-...-settings.html with my PXW-X70, shooting in 4k. If your chimed in Paul, “Thank You” for that PP. I used this PP at a Christmas play last year with the exception of the Black Gamma set at Middle & 0 and using auto white balance. Everything came out extremely clear along with color, even in scenes where a fogger was used. The only exception was a few scenes with a fogger being used with red lights. Those scenes along with faces were washed out about 40% along with a small amount of rolling shutter. I will be filming the same play again this year, in the same place. If anyone has any suggestions/idea’s for me to help clean up the reds, or changes in the PP, I would sincerely appreciate it. Other than that, the PP worked awesome.

Re: PP Comment
Thanks Paul..... When using your updated PP, should I leave all the other settings the same as in the previous one I used? I sincerely appreciate all your help you have given me to make my shooting successful. That Christmas show is coming up quick....... Thanks again, Ray ;)

Re: PP Comment
Set the phase and saturation to 0 for the new one, you can change whatever else you desire, this would just be custom COLOR CORRECTION MENU settings for REC709 color mode :-)

Re: PP Comment
I do have a question about using your CINEMATONE 1 setting in your PP I posted; Have you ever noticed "reds" being washed out? I have a feeling it may be due to being a stronger LED than the others...... Everything else looks great. Thanks again and have a great Thanksgiving holiday. Ray :-)
