X70 Firmware: 3.0 vs 3.01
What's different about the v. 3.01 firmware compared to v. 3.0.?
Is this an update worth making??

Re: X70 Firmware: 3.0 vs 3.01
I think the only difference is the installer. Some people had problems with v3.0

Re: X70 Firmware: 3.0 vs 3.01
I'm reading about 4K 100Mbps, my upgrade seemed to only do it to 60Mbps. Does anyone know would I have needed to use a separate/newer 4k upgrade install, or is there a firmware type update I can look to to update it?

If you had firmware 2.0 and the 4K upgrade installed, then the 3.0 firmware bumped the 4K options from 60 to 100Mbps.

Re: X70 Firmware: 3.0 vs 3.01
3.02 is the firmware that enables 150Mbps UHD 50p/60p 10 bit 4:2:2. :-)
I wonder if someone could hack firmware...I know the Nikonians site had Nikon firmware hacks for video upgrades, and I saw someone hacked an A7s once! Paul |
