The X70 and Z150 are 100% parafocal, guaranteed.
I believe what you guys are talking about is the "floating backfocus" feature, where the rear element is electronically adjusted by focal length, in an attempt to keep it parafocal but keep the size down. I am pretty sure the Sony 1/2" 3MOS (PMW320 etc) camera systems have the same thing, an electronic floating backfocus on the attached lens, that you align in the menu. Paul |

...I expected that, never "seen" any problems with my X70!
You can see the electronic adjustment using the AX53 while zooming. Correction is sometimes a bit behind, sometimes visible of. I´ve seen sharpness in the back most times. |
