Pxw-x70
Hi there.
Unfortunately I found out that my X70 screws up and down for audio recordings, can this be switched off? Kind Regards Bjarne E. Nielsen |

Re: Pxw-x70
I believe by "screws" you mean it increases and decreases AUTOMATICALLY? If you are using an XLR microphone, you should ensure that your handle switch controls are not set to AUTO. Set them to MAN and adjust your audio dials on the handle.
If you are using the BUILT IN microphone, no XLR attached, then the audio AUTOMATIC vs MANUAL controls for audio level are in the audio menu. Paul |

Re: Pxw-x70
I use a mono XLR microphone and record to both channels on the camera, manual on one, and auto on the other channel. I never experienced a problem.

Re: Pxw-x70
Switch both channels ( Channel 1 and 2 ) to Channel 1, switch off auto and manually set the audio level on a mono XLR mic plugged into Channel 1, no problems then I think.
