Recommendations for an affordable handheld stabilizer anyone?
Hey everyone,
Looking into getting a Steadicam-esque stabilizer that could work for my X70 and DSLR. There seem to be A LOT of options of the lower end side of thing, and I can't seem to find a model that immediately jumps out at me. Does anyone have recommendations for something solid in the $300 to $400 range? Thanks |

Do you want one with or without a 3 axis gimbal?

Flycams are cheap & cheerful flycam | eBay
Second hand Steadicam Merlins steadicam merlin | eBay B Hague (UK Based) Steadycam Stabilizers ? Hague Camera Supports Personally back in the day, I used to use a Merlin with an old Sony FX1 & it was great, I never could get on with the Glidecam/Flycam types as easily - YMMV Now days I use a GoPro & Feiyu Gimbal for the occasional 'steadicam' shot, but I rarely use it. If your budget can stretch that far (& assuming the X70 will fit!) It may be worth investing for the future in something like a Nebula Gimbal Upgraded Version Nebula5000pro 3-Axis | Filmpower Inc. |
