Sony email
Nothing earth shattering here, but I was pleased to get this email yesterday from Sony - nice to see them still promoting the camera...

Re: Sony email
Finally purchased the camera. It came with the free Version 2 firmware installed. The ship date to my dealer looked like the last week of July.

Re: Sony email
Was the firmware upgraded camera sold at a greater cost than the launch version of the camera? Just curious.

Re: Sony email
This was the free upgrade to firmware 2.0, 4K not included. That's still an extra $500US
EDIT: Just to be clear, the camera is $1999 US as it has been for the last few months. No change in price. Version 2.0 Firmware now installed. Last edited by Craig Seeman; August 12th, 2015 at 02:50 PM. |
