microphone mount clicking noise at DVinfo.net

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if you guys have the same issue I have with the microphone mount. When I don't have a mic mounted, the mount makes a clicking noise when you push up on the mount. Do others experience this?

I'm trying to figure out what you're saying, but I don't understand. What mount are you referring to? The external mic housing? A mic stand? Is this a boom mic? handheld? Can you share a photo of what you're referring to or explain better?

Sorry, the shotgun mic mount that's mounted just above the XLR inputs.
