PXW-X70 4K test footage, edited in FCP X
This is my first 4K sample from the X70. I'd hoped to have gotten home long before sunset to get some pretty shots, but was delayed, so I just grabbed what I could to see if indeed I can shoot and edit 4K with my existing equipment. Not my prettiest work, but it did what I needed.
Survey says: YES! Transcoded w/Sony Catalyst to XAVC Intra 4096x2160 Edited with FCP X 10.2.1 on mid-2012 MacBook Pro Retina laptop, 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7 D.P. Jody Eldred (Be sure to view in 4K.) |

Looks good on my 1080 monitor. I'll check it out in 4K when I get home.
Was this shot in 30p? How did you get the 4k license so soon? |
