Re: NTG2 on X70
I use rubber O-rings around the microphone to make it fit into the X70 microphone holder

Re: NTG2 on X70
Sony makes some rubber "wrap around" spacers that ship with their broadcast camera shotgun mount holders, the kind that bolt on and have the "knuckle". They normally have two thicknesses.........I used the thicker on my stock X70 mount to make a Panasonic MC700 mic fit correctly. Sony may sell these separately, but they don't have a part number stamped on them.
Others have suggested neoprene, like the material for wetsuits or mousepads, cut into a small rectangle and wrapped around the mic works well. Paul |

Re: NTG2 on X70
Go to your local bicycle store and ask them for an old rubber bicycle tube they nave disposed of. Then cut the rubber to fit to the microphone holder. Works well and free.
