SI2K and Blackmagic BMPCC
Both cams got an outing on a corporate assignment last Tuesday.
The BMPCC which is owned by the director on the day was main camera and also used for agile hand-held cutaway shots. The SI2K was used for a profile view of interviewees and as the sound recorder, fed by a Mix-Pre and Sony ECM-674 mic.. Identical Angenieux 17-75mm compact zooms were used to try to maintain a common "look" as far as possible. The vision from both cameras on initial playback in Premiere appear capable of being intercut with very little apparent difference in the raw images. Re: SI2K and Blackmagic BMPCC
Material shot by a local DoP and myself on the BMPCC and SI2K respectively seems to have intercut well in the finished clip we have seen so far.
I have yet to gain consent to post a link as the product may be a video document for internal consumption only, not public viewing. |
