IR with SI2K
Most who own or operate this camera system know it can do infra-red if the IR/OPLF panel is removed from the optical path and visible wavelength light filtered out. SI has also made custom versions for IR.
With the longer wavelength of IR light and the optical effect of the IR/OLPF missing from the optical path, considerable adjustment of the lens flange face rearwards may be required for focal performance to be re-established. |
