SFF to control SI-Mini
Hi guys, wanted your opinions/experince in a SFF computer to control the SI-Mini.
I know many of you use a laptop, usually a MAC. Just wondering if using, say a Mac Mini would yield a smaller forma factor, increased portability. My main objectives are: - ability to have internal SSD in order to capture raw uncompressed from SI Mini - proper ethernet throughput - hdmi (or dvi) display - ability to run from camera batteries with adapter So the Mac Mini certainly looks like a great candidate, but I looked int other systems and came up with these, just not sure if they will be adequate: Mini PC Shuttle XPC SG41J4 Socket 775 PCIe DDR3 Value Mini-Cube Computer System by AVADirect Mini PC Shuttle XPC Xi3 | Products Xi3 Computer - really cool Fit PC2 Ultra | Fit PC | Welcome to the Green PC Revolution FitPC compuer - increadibly small but not sure if Atom processor is enough So there you go, thanks for all your opinions, Pedro |
