SI-2K Mini Handheld
What do you use to stabilize the Mini while handheld, and to do Follow Focus?
I just stumbled upon this contraption, originally made for Canon 5D Mark II: Cavision | Follow Focus Shoulder Mount Package | RS5DM2SET-F Will this work with the Mini? |

I use the original accesories of PS Technik, but are expensive.
Also Zacuto has a package of accesories designed for the SI-2K Zacuto USA 888-294-3456 | Zacuto - SI-2K Kits The Cavision contraption will work if you take off the LCD cover, put the 7" touchscreen monitor, and put a battery holder with the correct Lemo adapter and a Bauer-tap to connect the Touchscreen.

frame discreet si2k
I'm using a DV Multi-RIG pro. It's a cost effective, quite versatile solution. Lots of threads and spots to hook on additional accessories.
For lighter weight, I use a simple photography bracket which I can mount a shotgun mic instead of a flash. Pictures of some of the rig setups in my blog. FrameDiscreet.com transfers // cinematography all the best! |
