Initiating new drive in dataport dp25
Does anyone know how to go about initiating a new drive which has been fitted into the DataPort DP25 box.
The SI2K does not see it. Neither does my XP computer although the little green light in the dataport lights up when connected via the USB cable. The usual disk manager rules on the computer don't seem to work in this instance. Any clues will be greatly appreciated. FOOTNOTE: Found the cure. You have to go in via "SI", then things are where you can find them and all is well. Last edited by Bob Hart; April 4th, 2009 at 08:22 AM. Reason: found the cure |

Furthur to above post, the dataport DP25 needs to be separately powered via its own 5Vdc input when connected to a PC.
