Hopefully Helpful Hint
If you happen to leave that little stylus pen thing back home and want to tell the touch screen to do things, as an alternative to such potentially damaging objects like biros, roasting skewers or fingernails, maybe try cotton tips as a stylus substitute. - It worked for me.
