Danny Boyle's SI-2K film winning awards

BTW, as a quick follow-up, "Slumdog" has now won the top honor at the Cameraimage festival, winning the coveted Golden Frog award.

Sorry, I'm powerless on that front . . . . heck, it's not even playing in my area in the U.S. yet . . . . so I have only seen the brief footage in the trailer and the clip we played at IBC (although the IBC clip was a nice 1080P ProRES HQ clip).

Guys, just saw this - what a fantastic movie! The cinematography was okay, but it seems digital time out there this year we got Benjy Button, Che and loads of others coming out commercially. But what a movie!

Slumdog just won the BAFTA for Cinematography
Anthony Dod Mantle was just on just stage winning it for best cinematography. Sadly no mention of S2k.
But it is massive news for us lot here! |

As this is one of those rare instances where the story could not have been told without the technology that was used a bit of gloating is quite in order.
