New Work
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share my new film. It's just 1 minute long. You can go see it on YouTube, Myspace or on my Official Website. C&C please! Thanks Raji |

I thought it was pretty funny. I probably would have went with a different initial argument since it was obvious that you didn't have a dog. Maybe the fight could have started due to a different noise issue.
Still, I thought it was pretty good. The editing was good and the neighbour with the dog was pretty funny as well. Mike |

Huh?
Maybe I don't get your sense of humor. I don't know why that was supposed to be funny. I thought both performances were good and the editing was fine, I didn't even mind that you never saw the dog (on the other hand, how hard is it to find a barking dog?) but there's no payoff at the end for me.

Mike,
Thanks for the comment, i agree that a different choice of noise issue might have been better. I was especially worried because my neighbors DO have a dog and i didn't want them thinking i was pissed with their dog. No i couldn't use their dog. They're my neighbors, but i don't know them that well hehe. Maybe i should have asked anyway... oh well. Glad you thought it was funny though!! Michael, My sense of humor is weird as hell. Well what i try to do in my "funny" stories is to take a simple idea and blow it completely out of proportion. Please tell me you don't throw grenades over your fence when their noise issue gets out of hand! But you're right that there should have been a payoff for the audience instead of just a little 1 minute gag. I'll have to keep that in mind for future super-short films. Although you're not gonna like the rest of my films i shot that month! lol |

Raji, comedy is very tough to pull off. I have an odd sense of humour as well so I liked your work quite a bit. You'll always find that some people just won't like that kind of comedy. As long as the criticism is helpful... all is good.
If you have the time please take a look HERE and let me know what you think. Looking forward to your next film! PS- check out the sticky at the top if you are interested in a challenge. Mike |
