720p needs a PC...I'm on a Mac...it's an unsupported WMV format...I've got a dual 2.5Ghz G5 that I've tried viewing HD WMV's on...it doesn't go ... either with WMP or Flip4Mac. So I'll watch the regular clip on my laptop and be happy.

They stopped developping it before the HD thing took off...Microsoft now directs Mac users to Flip4Mac which is also a bit behind but runs much more smoothly than WMP ever did...I can even fast forward and rewind and select arbitrary points in the clip I'm playing with F4M...WMP always choked on that and even crashed at times. My faith in MS continues to wane...I used to think they had some good software offerings...but they got to big for themselves...Word 5.1a was the last useful iteration of the program...after that it just got abusively large for no real reason. Office has more security holes than explorer (and it's not an internet based app) and Windows although promised to be a new thing every iteration ends up getting cut back to an interface upgrade with all the same underneathy bits...I'll stick to my Mac.
