1:21 outdoor short -- "Ninja" -- Canon XH-A1
This was a short I hacked together for a video contest. It was my first time using the XH-A1, and as such I recorded a lot of the images underexposed since the LCD makes the image appear brighter than it really is. There are a lot of small things I would have done better if I didn't have to make this deadline for the contest, but all in all I think it came out decent. I learned a lot this first time out with my camera, and am sure my next production will come out better.
EDIT: Here's a youtube link for ease of viewing -- http://youtube.com/watch?v=ESCDUrhs38k http://duffx.com/videos/duffx_ninja.wmv Comments and feedback welcome.

I understand Savefile is acting up again. It had problems a while ago with it's server but I thought it had been sorted. Shame because the site was easy and well constructed.
Here is another link to a larger upload which is more representative of the quality (Youtube compression is awful !). Hope this works. I would much rather people view this download, it's only 15MB. Thanks. http://files.filefront.com//;6655305;;/ |

Lady X on TV
Lady X: Clay Soldiers will be airing nationwide in Taiwan on February 3rd and 19th at 11:30pm on CTS. Looks like we're goin' legit.
If you're not in Taiwan (and I'm pretty sure you're not), you can still watch it on Youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHVZC1QV9tE&eurl= I'm still editing the feature. It's called "Paradigm X" (for now, anyway, unless we can think of a better title). Hopefully it will be done and out the door by this summer.

An Engagement Shoot - promo
This is a short promo I've recently completed for my cousin. He is a wedding photographer based in the Philadelphia area. We are trying to showcase his rather informal approach to wedding photography, which he feels is an antidote to the usual stiff and boring photo shoots that everyone has come to expect.
Feedback on any aspect of the video is welcome. Thanks, Mike http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCMWtXXG98Q |

My First 'Teaser'
Not sure if this is the right section but I just finished my first Teaser/Trailer for my local church. I've just started to get into videography in December and want to start doing it more often.
Any feedback you guys could give me would be quite appreciated. Thanks! http://homepage.mac.com/justin.carls...terns_ipod.mp4 Btw... their website isn't up yet. It's still in the making. :) |

Hey Justin,
The best place for this type of vid would b in the "show your work" section near the bottom of the forum main page. I loved it a lot. Didn't really pay detailed attention to the audio as it just plays from the speakers of my laptop, but the video, editing, and the script for the teaser was thought out well. Near the end where you have like six different phrases on the screen it just gets crowded and I can't read all that info in that brief time. i would break it up and have 2 at max pop up. thanks for sharing Monday |
