HVX200, mini35, zeiss HS lenses!

here are a few stills from our latest feature film, featuring the stuff in the topic technically...

we had a 18mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm zeiss HS with t1.3

we still had to lit a lot since the p+s takes so much light... and i was very unsatisfied with the achromat on the mini35 although its supposed to be a hard mount it created very ugly side-defocus.. yuck! we had to shoot with aperture 4.0 on the camera so the whole gg was sharp.

well, comments welcome!

ps: pics not cc'ed yet.

Tourist style camera work. Just something put together after pulldown removal.

I saw it and you on the Sci-Fi channel. Their website is not really loading for me, but I happened to be able to catch it on TV. I felt the drama and really liked the scenes establishing the control "Arphid" (SP?) had over society. On the other hand, I laughed inappropriately when the hero threw off the attacker and looked up and yelled in celebration. It sounded like he was gargling which I found quite humorous. Congratulations for getting some national attention!

Just Fly

Being an A&P aircraft technician I thought I would share what its like to be on an observation flight on a Cessna 172. The first link is to download the file and not suffer any recompression. It's about 20 MB. The second link is a youtube.com link pick your poison.

Raising the Bar 2 - Trailer

Thanks to everyone who commented on my earlier workout clip from my bodybuilding documentary Raising the Bar 2. With your suggestions I definitely improved upon it.

Now, here it is, the trailer for the completed RTB2! The DVDs will be available shortly, but in the meantime I would like to know your opinions as to the effectiveness of this trailer.

Thanks. What was happening was that he was having flashbacks at the brink of defeat and it gave him the power to over come Arphid and throw him off. So that scream was like a hiyaaaa in karate or something similar. It was supposed to be a burst of power he was feeling. I know its a little disjointed but we had 3 weeks to do it working day jobs and it had to be 6 minutes long so it was hard to get everything in. We plan on trying a longer version some time this year thats more put together and no background effects.
