My First "Big Project"
Hey Everyone!
Just finished my first big project with and for a friend of mine. It's called, The Oklahoma Heismen. It's a documentary feature based on the four guys to win the Heisman Trophy from OU. It is just about 89 minutes in length and is available as of Thursday. I did 90% of the filming with my XL1-S, and we edited it mostly on two 17" powerbooks with FCP Studio. It's gotten great reviews by the local media and there should be clips on our website today, or in the next day or so. Oh ,the best part..... we got ED HARRIS to narrarate it!!! Yes, that Ed Harris! He donated all of His proceedings to a local charity. Start to finish, including advertising and pay, my friends budget was 100,000. But I think it only came to about 65,000. Take a look and give me some feedback. http://www.collegesportsdvds.com Thanks, Bryon <>< |

Videos are up and running!!
Hey guys, just got an email from are web designer and the videos are up and running. Just go to collegesportsdvds.com and the links are to the right under the heading of
Excerpts from "The Oklahoma Heismen" and are in H264, viewable with Quicktime 7 All of the highlight clips are from SoonerVision, the University of Oklahoma sports video department. I understand that OU has been fiming their sports longer than any other university. - Tidbit from Bryon's stash of useless info. Please let me know what you think. Bryon <>< |

I figured I would just post the links here. You need Quicktime 7 to view, but again, it's free.

No suprise that the OU lovin` media in OKC would praise this!!
HAHA! Totally kidding. That's awesome. I had no desire to watch this when I saw it was released (Go Pokes!) but now I might have to pick it up. I'm thinking it's pretty awesome that there are so many Oklahomans on this site: Ash, Chris, Riley... Maybe we should all collaborate on something?!?! I'll certainly turn to you guys if I ever need help with anything. Andy Stewart Ponca City, OK |

As a matter of fact, I did have one OSU fan who said after watching this it almost made him want to become a Sooner. Almost. Just take baby steps and we'll get you there.. ha ha Bryon <>< |
