Not sure what's cooler, the car or the camera. Great pod cast...

Recording the bible to CD
This isn't exactly "showing" my work, since it is audio, not video, but I figured it was the most likely place to put this.
My wife's younger sister requested an interesting Christmas present this year. She asked me to record all 16 chapters of Romans from the New International Version of the New Testament. I had a feeling it would take a while to do, and I was right. But now that it is done, I have posted a zip file with MP3 versions of all 16 chapters. http://download.yousendit.com/016E40495C1E18EC I figured I might as well share. The download will be available for a couple of weeks. I used the following site as a source: http://www.biblegateway.com/ In the unlikely event that I exceed 200 downloads, I will repost with a new URL. |

Also, there is an HD version out that lets you do high-def capture using a digital still camera! Thats how the Corpse Bride was shot. Amazing stuff. Not sure whats out there for PC. I've been out of the PC world for 5 years and I never looked back. Good luck with your project, If I can answer anystop motion questions I'd be happy to. -Ben |

That's cool. Did she want your voice in particular? I just ask because there are commercial versions of the NIV on CD and MP3 CD for reasonable costs.

Chanukah vs. Christmas (commercial parody)
Hi there Everyone,
I just finished a short film called "Chanukah vs. Christmas". It's a parody of the Mac vs. PC commercials. It was shot with the Canon XL1 and edited in Premier Pro 1.5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mb79j4ZxrIE I would welcome any feedback on the film. Thanks. Peter Reynolds |

That was great. I saw the Happy Kwanzaa coming but then, who didn't?
I think the Christmas guy got the spirit of the Mac/PC actor a bit better than the other fellow. |

She wants her husband to do it. Getting me to do one of the books is really just a dig at him to get off his tail and get busy. So it was not my voice exactly, just that I am her brother-in-law and her husband might be inclined to step up to the plate in some form of competitve manner, I suppose.

Star Wars/LOTR fan film
Hi,
Just a cheesy little thing I put together a few years ago with my first camera (1 chip Canon ZR 60) and about 1 hour of filming and 8 hours of editing... its about 30 seconds long and lame but my neighbors always get a kick out of it. www.tahoestarr.com/jedijeff.wmv Jeff

The Barracks
We're currently in the scripting stage of a psychological horror and i thought it would be helpfull to have a short trailer that we could show when submitting our business plan and script to scottish screen for funding. I'm hoping it will also come in handy when gathering crew.
I had to come up with somethin i could rig shoot and appear in myself, which as you can imagine limits what you can do when trying to acheive a half decent cinematic look. Anyway have a look and let me know what you think. http://www.savefile.com/files/367009 I just tested the download and i was getting about 10kbs which is unacceptable, maybe you'll have better luck. If not here is another link, it will be lesser quality but what you gonna do. :EDIT: it seems to be working now change the video size at bottom right. http://camerashyltd.livedigital.com/content/999169/ Andy.

Good stuff Andy,.....
Could you tell us about your setup? cam/nle/jib/lights, etc. It looked great for what you had to work with,......actually it just looked good period. How did you achieve the first shot of the forest?.....vue? or was it real? Did you use a stabilizer? if so,....which one? Ian |
