One of the things I do to decide whether or not to watch a particular video on YouTube is to read the written description. When I click the "...more" it often reveals the presence of chapters, revealing the subtopics of the video. This has been helpful to me when I'm browsing and the videos are long form. And, I often find myself skipping over some parts to go directly to the parts that particularly interest me.
But up until now, my own videos haven't had chapters. I thought because the videos are normally pretty short, they didn't need chapters. But in these times of shortened attention spans, 3 to 5 minutes can be a long time to many busy people, including me on certain days. So, in a first test, I've added chapters to this video. Do you find them helpful, or are they unnecessary work, a waste of time to create?
