Nice video but it looks really strange to us in the Northern hemisphere, even though where I live it's more usually a green (or grey) Christmas than the so-called traditional white one. |

I think you have to be an Australian to get it Dave. We kind of take pride in the strangeness and incongruity (to others) of a stinking hot Christmas surrounded by European traditions of snowmen and pine Christmas trees. It appeals to our dry sense of humour but at the same time we celebrate the uniqueness of who, and where, we are. In short, this is our Christmas reality, always has been.

Nice stuff. Have relatives in Cairns who say too bloody hot for a Christmas visit. Hope to get there next October/November.
Had Christmas several times with S African relatives. Roasting hot outside dining on roast Turkey etc. Ron |
