Construction Site Tilt-Shift

Bangkok is a good city to find a tilt-shift friendly construction site. I went out one morning and found 3. Ended up shooting 2 of them. I shot with both the Sony FDR-AX53 and a Canon 6D with 24mm TS-E lens, both in video mode and a series of stills. I visited this site on three different days and never got hassled.

For the full-frame dSLR and 24mm lens, I found that about 27 meters above ground level was looking good for getting a nice blur effect in the lens. This video I posted, is shot on the FDR-AX53 in UHD and the tilt-shift effect was added in Magix Pro 15, very easily. I've seen some amazing samples on the internet and will probably never get that good at it, but they're still fun to do once in awhile. Clouds played havoc with me on this one.
