GH4 4K for Breakfast
I just got the GH4 and this is the second shoot with it in 4K. I just shot the restaurant we went for breakfast so kind of boring. Fun camera to shoot with, still need to figure out a good workflow to get the most out of it.

What lens did you shoot with? Any color correction?

Re: GH4 4K for Breakfast
Any chance of getting Vimeo to reprocess/upgrade the video to 1080HD? It's a bit hard to judge 4K when it is only at the 720 resolution.
Also, the shots of the seated cyclists at 26 sec have a blue cast. Andrew |

Re: GH4 4K for Breakfast
Both YouTube and Vimeo step on the image so much when they re-encode that its difficult to judge 4K at anything other than 4K.
The blue cast was my lazy color correction. They were in the shade, I used auto WB and I just applied the same LUT to all the clips. I could have easily corrected the white balance. |

Re: GH4 4K for Breakfast
Vimeo's re-compression isn't as nasty as YouTube. Can you go in to the "video file" settings for your Vimeo video and select "Upgrade this video" and then the 1080p optopn?
