48hr challenge Film edited, mixed & composited on Open Source software (KdenLive)
Hello all, here is a little 2 minute film produced for the 2012 DVmission 48 hour film challenge. It's no masterpiece, and we were restricted to the cheesy concept by the rules (genre, title and the line "I've got 99 problems", plus under 2 minutes and ofcourse no copyright violations) but we had fun. The most interesting thing (I think) about it is it was entirely post produced using the open source Kdenlive NLE on linux, including greenscreening, colour correction, and sound mixing and editing.
Genre Creature Feature Title "The Pepperdine Method" Dialogue "I've got Ninety Nine Problems" I also put together a post 48hr "director's cut" in HD with slight improvements to the colour correction, sound mix and compositing, and rotoscoping out the string holding up the doctor's mutant tail. |
