Looking for footage of time lapse sunset/mansion
I need a time lapse sequence of the sun going down over an epic mansion--the piece is set in 1902 so it should obviously be a mansion from previous era . Something like these would be perfect.

Re: Looking for footage of time lapse sunset/mansion
Would this old place be adequate? We are in transition out of late spring into summer. There is urban infill around the building though.
Episode 4: Invercloy - Houses - Who’s been Sleeping in My House? - ABC TV It appears the documentary is available for online viewing in the US at this web address. http://www.hulu.com/#!watch/367155?c...r-and-Suspense It is blocked here. The camera which shot the still image on the website faces north-east. Last edited by Bob Hart; October 7th, 2012 at 06:23 AM. Reason: added text |

I just found the "these" word was a link. So Invercloy would fall considerably short of what you are looking for.

Re: Looking for footage of time lapse sunset/mansion
Thanks Bob, I made that link more apparent.
You are right, Invercloy isn't quite right but I appreciate the thought. We shot the interiors at the Paramour in Los Angeles, which is a fantastic and rather creepy old estate. Some great ghost stories have gone around about that spot. I do know that I was one of the last ones out our final night, and without the hustle and bustle of the crew around I was looking over my shoulder the whole time!! Unfortunately the exterior of the building is in a Spanish-influenced style and we need something more Downton Abbey-esque, hence our not being able to shoot the exteriors there.

Re: Looking for footage of time lapse sunset/mansion
The Biltmore House in Asheville NC faces the right way for great sunsets.
https://www.google.com/search?q=suns...w=1093&bih=746 It may be too recognizable though.
