"The Spell Book" (My First Short Film)
Hey all,
I wanted to post my first short film in its entirety to get feedback. I can't seem to get the Vimeo link to embed, so... Here is the vimeo link: and the YouTube HD link: "The Spell Book" (Short Film) - Dir. by Robert James Haynes - YouTube Logline: Three friends confront evil in the form of a demon possessed teddy bear after opening an ancient spell book. 'The Spell Book' is a no budget horror/comedy, shot in Austin, TX, that took its inspiration from 80's movies like 'The Evil Dead' and 'Gremlins'. Please let me know what you think! Thanks, Robert James Haynes Writer/Director - The Spell Book Escaping Westlawn Productions Twitter: @robertjhaynes or @EscapeWestlawn |

Re: "The Spell Book" (My First Short Film)
Epic. I thought the script was brilliant and really well performed. I didn't spot any obvious flaws in a single viewing. The writing was definitely a strong point.
