"The Spell Book" (A short horror/comedy)
Hey all,
This is my first post at dvinfo.net and I just finished my first short film "The Spell Book" that I plan on submitting to film festivals. I have cut a 30 second teaser/trailer and would like to know what you think. The story is inspired by all the horror/comedies I grew up watching as a kid. The synopsis: Three friends are forced to confront evil in the form of a demon they've accidentally released after opening an ancient spell book. I don't know how to embed links yet, so please view the YouTube HD link here: The Spell Book - Trailer - YouTube Thanks in advance, Robert James Haynes Writer/Director - The Spell Book Escaping Westlawn Productions Escaping Westlawn Productions |

Liked the trailer, although the cinematography lacks mood. It's too bright and flat for a horror/suspense film.

I have to agree with Jay.
The lighting (while nice and clean) definitely lacks mood |
