Range Rover short
Just a short 30 second project for my cinematography class. Not really happy with the way it turned out. Originally it was supposed to be a GT-R but the owner had to cancel last minute, so a lot of my pre-planned shots went out the window.

Re: Range Rover short
Not sure if your looking for feedback?
Why did you shoot it at night? A black car at night is difficult to light well. Also if your going to shoot a black car at night you have to make sure its clean, really clean. A similar shoot with a Canon 7D, I shot this in a little over an hour late in the day, toy can se the difference shooting at sunset or sunrise: |

Re: Range Rover short
yea sorry haha, was looking for feedback!
Originally it was supposed to be a bright red GT-R and about 3 hours before the shoot the owner canceled because he was called into work. We didn't have any time to set up a shoot another day, so I had to roll with what I had on hand. I tried to do my best to outline the edges with the lights I had on hand, but I not really satisfied with the end result like I said. I actually washed the car before hand but I used a brand of wax I'd never used before and it left that really nasty finish on it, I guess it needed to be buffed some more. |
