Vimeo - Is this normal?

Hello all,

I've just started using Vimeo so that I can communicate with an overseas client and am in a real hurry to share a clip with him.

So I went to Vimeo but this is what's happened on the Uploading page:

If I try to navigate away it tells me I will cancel the upload. If I click on My Videos and on the file it says it is still uploading.

Should I let it finish or cut my losses and start again? Time is of the essence unfortunately.

Regards,
-- John

Vimeo - Is this normal?

Hi,

I had a similar experience with Vimeo...it is a great resource, but like anything, it can be a bit buggy at times.

You pretty much need to let it do its rendering....you cannot "navigate away." If you did, "my videos" may still say that it is uploading but the interruption has occured and you should probably "re-upload" and cut your losses, as you said...

Good Luck,

John Reilly

Re: Vimeo - Is this normal?

Vimeo is awesome, but their uploader sucks. You're using the new ajax uploader. Try using the flash uploader and you won't have to deal with that anymore.
