A Life in Japan
Hi,
I'm working on a documentary about foreigners living in Japan. Why they chose to go there, good/bad experiences and so on. This is my first own, big project. The release is scheduled for this summer. My budget has been more or less zero and my equipment is not very expensive. What it lacks in quality I hope to compensate with interesting content and good editing. I'm not sure if, for example, TV-stations will be interested when it's finished because of the quality, so I will probably concentrate on trying to sell it over the internet. I'm thinking of selling files to download very cheaply and hope to get some volume and name recognition that way. Here's a link to a short trailer I made about a year ago. It's only a minute. Re: A Life in Japan
Looks interesting because I would love to go to Japan sometime.
I really liked the line "It all started with ninjas" - it's a good hook - makes me curious about that guy's story. Best wishes with the project. |

Re: A Life in Japan
The documentary is now finished and available on the internet.
I've had two public screenings in Kyoto and everybody seemed to be very happy with it. I've got some very good comments. A much more positive experience altogether than I thought it would be. Her a posting at Deepkyoto from the premiere. http://www.deepkyoto.com/?p=7026 |
