a video about a glass project
so, a 2 day art event happened, and some of the participants shot a bit of documentation video.
i was later asked to cut the material together in order to describe the work. i was given an hour and a half of DVCAM footage and some kind of JVC mpeg2 files. i also requested whatever photographs could be found. opting to avoid any descriptive voice-overs or text, i decided upon cutting the documentation into something of a puzzle: where viewers may decipher what the work was about. i found it to be quite a challenge in terms of narrative, but i'm quite happy with how it turned out. i'd be curious to hear some reactions: http://www.recordingmedium.com/video...ollect-web.mov |
