Youth at risk Trampoline
One of my friends is a mentor for a boy named Mecca here in phoenix. He found Mecca through the Youth at Risk organization and has been taking him on trips and helping him with homework. Cirque du Soleil recently gave Mecca free tickets to their show and he really enjoyed it. He wanted to make a "thank you" video and this is what we came up with. I understand it is not anything outstanding but I really enjoyed doing it as it is for a cause.
Please let me know what you guys think. YouTube - Mecca's thanks to Youth at Risk |

Brandon,
When it's for a cause like that it doesn't matter a toss if it's 'Perfect' Doing it is what matters. Tell Mecca I think it takes courage to put himself in the spotlight like that and with that energy channeled correctly he will be able to have a good life and there's nothing he can't achieve if he sets his mind to it. Al,
Thanks for watching it. I really feel good about what we created and we have just recently given it to the organization and they love it. The organization is not used to being given things. Hopefully they will put it on their site and I believe they are going to send it to cirque du soleil. |

I liked it.
The impression I got was that Mecca seems a very likable guy, is articulate, and is unafraid of being on camera. Being comfortable on camera, and a handsome young man, could serve him well. Has he investigated acting, performing, public speaking, even with only near-home opportunities such as a church play group, or other youth group?
I also suspect that, with the proper, age-appropriate music, a trampoline could serve as a platform around which a music video could be made, e.g. maybe a few children taking turns, or 2 children jumping in unison or opposition. In some shots I noticed pebbles or something similar on the trampoline. For effects, replace those with either colored crepe paper, tissue paper, or even thin pieces of colored felt/foam. It might well lead to another fun project. Good job, and best of luck.
