Halloween fun - Proton Pack building

This was my first try at building a prop proton pack,,,,I took more pictures than video, but for those thinking that something like this is far too difficult to accomplish, if I can do it.....:)

Some facts..
Vacuum formed shell :$170
Extra Parts for pack:$110
Lights for pack: $110
Sound for pack : $75
gun: $160
lights for gun: $110

Having something from your favorite child hood that is pretty close to screen accurate in your living room...priceless.

The original intention was to wear it round Halloween parties. But the plastic is kind of thin and I'm worried about it breaking. So, I am going to use this as diplay only. the second one you see at the end is a more solid fiberglass...and far more durable...

enjoy :)
