The News Today 7d & EX3 Short
This is a short I recently directed, edited and co-wrote. It based on some personal experience in my life. Examining how people's perspective on bad news can change how bad it is. I don't want to give to much away. Its only 5 mins long so check it out and let me know what you think. Feedback is always appreciated.

I shoot with a 7D and an EX3 as well and not to be to harsh, but it didn't really drive home for me. The little vocals that were in it didn't sound that great and the interior scenes were lit pretty badly unless that was what you were going for. I'm not really sure why you would want the harsh deep shadows in your shots. I could be, just not bright enough to get it, but it didn't tell a story to me. I think I know what you were going for, my mom, sister, and good friend all went through the same thing unfortunately.

Thanks for the comment Jerry. I prefer honesty to no comment at all so don't worry I didn't take you're comment to harshly. I would prefer some constructive criticism then just pointing out things you didn't like, maybe some advice. Any way I did plan the lighting that way for a reason, it was a look I went for to add to the mood. It's a hard, weird and confusing time for the characters and I thought the look would help the viewer feel that a little bit more. It may have missed but it was on purpose. If anyone has any advice on how I could improve the look I'm open to any advice.
