Thank you very much Bill !
SFX have been made with After Effects 6.5, color correction with Adobe Premiere Pro. By the way, what do you call "color timing" ? |

Hello,
I had another issue with my provider, and have to modify URLs. Here are the new links (by the way, I still cant' find how to edit a post here...) http://h09.llord.com/~gilz99/Loop/sub/Loop_sub.wmv http://h09.llord.com/~gilz99/Loop/sub/Loop_HQ.mov |

By 'color timing' I meant color correction... there is a difference but not everyone uses the words correctly, myself included, LOL
I have the same problem - sometimes I can edit a post, sometimes I can't; No idea why. |

Hey Gilles,
Fantastic film man, the production value is phenomenal! If you'd like I'll happily host both versions of the film on my website here: http://www.mediaspine.com Its a website dedicated to short films, animation, games and all the rest, a bit like TriggerStreet but without the advertising, and a little more scope. Eventually I'm going to get round to implementing a rating system and then some online and offline festivals, but for now its simply a showcase website. Let me know if you want me to host it there, and I'll download the files, upload them to the site and do the rest! |

Hi guys, thanks for the informations and the kind words ;-)
Yeah Andrew, it would be great to have my short published on Mediaspine. Your website looks pretty cool and interesting. It's now in my favorites ;) Should I do something to have my short published on the site or do you take care of it by yourself ? |

Nope, I can take care of the rest!
Once I can find a new host server, I have written a PHP script allowing users to upload their films directly to the site, but unfortunately my current host only allows 2mb PHP uploads, so I have to place the films on the site manually. I shall have it up by the end of the day! |

There up and running!
Here's a re-compressed Quicktime version of the film (12mb): http://www.mediaspine.com/film/loop.php And here's the original WMV file (70mb): http://www.mediaspine.com/film/loop_sub.wmv If anyone else wants their film showcased on MediaSpine just email me the file or a link at: submit@mediaspine.com |
