Recreation of a scene from 'Thirst'. Thoughts?
Hey guys,
I worked on this a few weeks back, it's a recreation/re-imagining (i kinda hate that word) of a scene from the Korean film 'Thirst'. Would be really keen to hear your thoughts on it, the lighting, sound, acting, editing - everything really. Trying to get a sense of how we could have improved it. And some objective opinions, and constructive criticism would be a huge help. As a bit of background for the scene (to help put it in context). The basics are that the man is a vampire (of sorts) and the girl is his girlfriend (of sorts), she's convinced him to kill her husband (the guy in the photo) who she said beat her. They're remembering the husband on his birthday when she reveals that the husband never actually beat her, and the vampire (who's worked very hard to avoid killing anyone until now) is naturally distraught about that. So what we see in the scene is the breakdown of this relationship and her eventual begging of him to turn her, which he does because he loves her and can't refuse anything she asks him. Any comments or advice would be much appreciated. Cheers, YouTube - YouTube - Thirst Edit.flv |
