Roller Derby! Hits! Women! Lens Flares!
Hey guys,
Video I did recently for the Toronto Roller Derby. Shot on 2 Canon 7D's and a Canon 1D mk4. Steadicam was a Pilot and we used all Canon glass. Original music and lots of fun post production. This is being used as promo material for the leagues upcoming season. Cheers. |

That looked like it might have been a lot of fun to produce.
I wonder what happened to all those banked roller derby tracks? Roller derby used to be quite popular, its interesting that it appears to be making a bit of a comeback. Great job. |

I asked about that, since I know NOTHING about derby. They say they still exist, but are quite expensive and more dangerous, so they have fallen out of favour.
It was a blast to make. Great ladies. |

I am working with our local league providing video for the coaches to study, as well as doing promo and other stuff. Been a blast getting involved. If you have a local league near you, get out there and check it out. Nearly ALL of them could use basic video services. Don't expect to get paid, no one does. I do it anyway. :)

Excellent colour and nice fast motion filmed at 60fps?
I really gotta get me a 7D as a second camera. Sheesh those pans are smooth as. With regards Jeff |
