7D and HMC 150 Winter woods (5 min)
I wanted to gain a little experience with people in front of the lens, so I invited my son and a couple of his friends to join me in the woods (I think there is a camping joke that goes down this road). My son was positioned down the hill a little ways with the HMC 150 mainly grabbing right to left pan shots of the other two running. Near the end he came up the hill and got a few more shots. 80% of the clip is from the 7D and the balance the HMC150. We had a few things planned, but most of what is seen is the boys goofing around. Ended up editing in a manner that kinda, sorta tells a story. The snow was coming down and I did not think to bring proper protection for the cameras and our couple hour plan turned into about half an hour of shooting. Shot at 720p. 7D has the 18-135mm lens with a UV filter. HMC -std lens (no adapter) just a polarizer. Anyway, we all had a good time and my son enjoyed working behind the camera. Nice way to spend the day, before they head back to school. Worst case- I owe you 5 minutes out of your life. Take Care, Doug |
